A new team of astronauts arrives on board the International Space Station (ISS) and discovers the joys, wonders and dangers of life in orbit. In contending with the disorientation linked to weightlessness, in reacting to potentially catastrophic emergency situations and in welding themselves into an effective team, crew members make the most of years of training. This unique experience will lead them to develop deep ties similar to those of a family.
Spectators will confront the extreme nature of an experience that is unique to astronauts and will be prepared for the film's sequel: the spacewalk.
